The Exo Terra Reptile UVB100 is a compact fluorescent UVB bulb designed to emit levels of UVB similar to that found in shady environments such as rainforests and other tropical locations. Reptiles living in these habitats receive moderate UVB exposure due to conditions which prevent these species from regularly coming in contact with strong direct sunlight.

Due to experts reporting the UVB output of Exo Terra Reptile UVB bulbs as "potentially unreliable", we do not recommend using this product without a Solarmeter 6.5 to make sure your reptile is getting the right amount of UVB.
